Extension of Payment Period for Special Voluntary Disclosure and Amnesty Program for Indirect Taxes

The Royal Malaysian Customs Department ["RMCD"] has on 29^th June 2022 announced the extension of payment period for Phase 1 of the Special Voluntary Disclosure and Amnesty Program ["VA Program"] until 14^th July 2022.

The Ministry of Finance ["MOF"] and RMCD have agreed to extend the payment period for Phase 1 for another 14 days, i.e. from 30^th June 2022 to 14^th July 2022. Please note that this is only applicable for those applications made to RMCD on or before 30^th June 2022.
